MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Individuals wishing to apply for the eligibility list must successfully meet ALL the following requirements at the time of application:
- U. S. Citizen, conversant in English;
- 18 years of age at the time of application;
- Must present a High School Diploma or G.E.D. Equivalency;
- Must present documentation that you are certified as an Emergency Medical Technician
- Cardiac (EMTC) or are currently enrolled in an EMT Cardiac certification course;*Applicants must have a valid Rhode Island EMT-C license by the end of training and must agree to maintain certification as a condition of employment;

*A swim test will be given to the top qualifying applicants.
Upon being considered for employment you will be required to pass a BCI check and a physical examination by a town appointed physician.
