To protect life and property by performing firefighting, emergency medical aid, hazardous materials and fire prevention duties. Maintains fire equipment, apparatus and facilities, and other duties as required. Works under the close supervision of the Assistant Public Safety Director – EMS/Fire Chief and the EMS/Fire Commanders. This is a 2912 hour per year position.
