We're hiring retired high-ranking first responders in Texas to lead a community outreach program that helps active firefighters and law enforcement officers access medical benefits they're entitled to under state Heart & Lung presumption laws — specifically around hypertension, heart disease, and related conditions.
The Role
You'll be the face of this program in your region — visiting fire stations, police precincts, and union halls to educate active first responders about benefits most of them don't know they have. This isn't a sales job. It's advocacy work built on trust, credibility, and the relationships you've already earned over your career.
What You'll Do
- Visit fire departments and police stations across your assigned region
- Educate active first responders about Heart & Lung Bill benefits for hypertension and heart disease
- Screen and identify officers who may qualify for covered medical benefits including prescription medications
- Coordinate with our pharmacy and operations team to onboard qualified first responders
- Attend union meetings and association events as a program ambassador
- Build relationships with local union leadership (FOP, IAFF chapters)
What We're Looking For
- Retired Fire Chief, Assistant Chief, Battalion Chief, Captain, Police Commander, or equivalent rank
- 15+ years of service in Texas fire or law enforcement
- Strong relationships within the Texas first responder community
- Respected reputation among peers — your credibility IS the role
- Self-motivated, comfortable working independently in the field
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation

Compensation
Competitive base salary of $75K plus performance-based bonus. This is a part-time position, requiring approximately 20–25 hours per week.
