You will serve as a FIREFIGHTER (PARAMEDIC) in the FIRE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES DEPARTMENT of NSF DAHLGREN.Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing fire prevention, fire protection and emergency operations; 2) Performing emergency medical service and hazardous materials responses; and 3) Performing fire control, disaster response/control and recovery.**NOTE: This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for the position.

**In addition, this position requires possession of the following certifications for the GS-09:Firefighter I and II, Hazmat Awareness, Hazmat Operations, Driver/Operator-Pumper, National Registry Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic (NREMT-P). These certifications must have been awarded by DoD, IFSAC or Pro Board to meet the requirement. If you do not possess all of the above certifications and you have not attached copies of your certifications, you will be rated ineligible.**Copies of Certifications MUST be submitted with your application.
